So, lately I’ve been making some delicious-looking things that you can’t eat. And they’re all really small.
These ice cream sundaes are made in communion cups, with white glue, polymer clay fruit, and chopped walnuts. I made the chocolate by mixing white glue with cocoa powder.
The lemonade and iced tea are in communion cups too, and they have coffee-stirrer straws. I made the lemons out of polymer clay, and the drink is made out of clear glue with orange and yellow dye. The ice cubes? I used clear beads for those.
And the ice cream cones are made of polymer clay. I love polymer clay because it’s not very expensive, it comes in bright colors, and it doesn’t dry out in the air (like play-doh does). You do have to bake it, but it only takes about 10 minutes.
I put hooks in a couple of the cones so that I could make earrings or necklaces out of them.
Next time I’ll be back with something you can actually eat.
